I love wireless internet jobs. It either goes straight on or I have to spend hours fixing PC problems like browser hi-jackers viruses, bad drivers & many other obstacles. The sad thing is, I really enjoy it :)
When your ready to throw it all out of the window, give Janet a ring & book me in & I WILL come & fix it. The only problem sometimes is dodgy routers & we'll need to replace it for you but I will fix it for you & that is a promise!

I charge £30 flat rate but this covers me for an hours work and all eventualities like laptop problems or invalid user details where calls need to be made to ISP's etc.

If you want a router supplied you'll need to let us know in advance so I can choose the best one for you. Its also very important that you give us your ISP (Internet Service Provider) details (VIRGIN, AOL, PIPEX, SKY etc.) so we know what we're up against.

It's also very important that you've got the correct log-in details if your with an ADSL ISP (like SKY, BT, AOL which uses the internet via your phone lines as you access their service via logging into their secure server at their end. 99% of problems I get with ADSL internet is missing user details and I then have to get the client to ring the ISP then put me on to speak to them and get it sorted so please do think about this.
Dig out the welcome letters you got where possible as this can speed me up a lot but in some cases I have actually found that the ISP has made a typing mistake (typo) on the welcome letter which then makes it even more difficult for us all! Some have even created the clients email address with spelling mistakes so do be aware of these issues.

If you try to hook up your wireless yourself then good luck. Have patience and always think logically. If you get stuck just ring for help :)
