The services of Right Click Fix are varied so I'll try to list as many as possible for you. If what you need isn't listed in the site then give us a ring for a personal chat. If I can't help you I'll definitely know someone who can.

Wireless router set up. £30 I can provide you with a router too if you don't know which one to buy? feel free to ask though. I can also add your PS3, 360 etc. for you as well as forward your router ports for better downloading/connection speeds.

Computer "Blitz" I'll collect your PC or laptop (or drop it at the office if you like?) and will BLITZ your PC so it works at it's best performance. This includes virus removal and/or otherwise general clean up and repair of system £30
If you need an upgrade or any hardware I'll advise you to let you know about and will not "just do it" without your consent so you get a nasty surprise when I return it to you.

Windows format & re-installation with all drivers and full operating system renewal £30 (additional software installed as extra) returned to you as good as new and plugged back in for you too!

Tuition for beginners is available at a measly £25 per hour with an hour being ample time and so your head doesn't explode from all the info I throw at you. I can teach you how to switch that new laptop off properly (no need to hit it). Order shopping on-line and send e-mails as well as much more! Your free to ask anything you like along the way

Web Sites I'm not a pro designer but have gathered enough knowledge over the last 6 or seven years from building my own sites to be able to offer basic web sites at a very reasonable rate as well as hosting the site for you. If you need a site for your new business give me a call, I'm sure we can sort you something out to get you up and running so you can start earning and progress. We can give you a basic site cheaply to get you up & running then maybe upgrade it later to a more flashy, expensive design with branding etc. I haven't had time to learn Flash as yet but do have sources to assist me with this if your willing to pay for it?
If your good with web-design and want to prove yourself to the industry then maybe we can work together as I always need help in this department as it takes up so much time (usually Sundays).

IT Support I look after a few local companies and find it inspiring to have companies calling me for help when it all goes pear shaped for them. Its good to be able to help people and just because its a business I'm helping doesn't mean the prices go up! I've noticed other companies attitudes towards corporate assistance is all about how much they can get out of the business and I think thats wrong! People starting a business are possibly worse off than many "private clients" when it comes to finances so be rest assured I won't be over charging you just because you own a business!

Networking is the ultimate challenge and is actually why I started Right Click Fix. I got a phone call last year from a manageress who got my name from an employment agency who recommended my services to set up an office network including dedicated server and a lot more. I was unemployed at the time and this job actually pushed me into business! I love these jobs as it's a full test of my skills of which I meet head on!


I've noticed that most of my jobs have been for around £30. This covers running costs and give myself a small profit margin whilst keeping the prices realistic for you the client. I'm not a greedy person as many of you have found out and have helped over the last 11 months. Some call-outs have been freebies if I've called in while passing & gave a quick fix :)

Trust

I do realise that I've probably put a few noses out of joint while giving such a good level of service during the past year or so but this cannot be helped unfortunately. I've been to a lot of places where other "computer guys" have been previously and have heard a lot of tales from a lot of disgruntled customers and it's got to stop! Trust has got to be earned and I'm all for that. I've been CRB checked and the certificate is available for all to see as proof. I've got public liability insurance and employers liability insurance too (for the future) so you know your not dealing with some fly by night dodgy geezer!

I do feel that I need to stress the fact that when it comes to actually working on computers it's best I take the computer away if its virus removal or format etc. as this takes a long time and time is money to me. If I can leave you a PC to work with it means I've got all the time I need to perfect your PC and make sure its running as well as possible prior to returning it. Expect these types of job to take up to 3 days if you want it done properly. Windows XP Home edition currently has 98 Microsoft updates to install after each re-installation and XP has to be re-activated too. There's also service pack 3 to add to that as well as Internet Explorer 7 too so there's another half hours worth!
If I'm sitting in your house for 3-4 hours trying to get viruses off I'd have to charge an hourly rate and some people charge £20-£25 per hour for this. I'll take it away, fix it and return it for £30 all in. Now I'm no mathemetician but that sounds better to me ;)

Goals

My immediate aim is to be THE person to call on if you need personal assistance in South Tyneside and beyond. My ultimate goal is to make a success of Right Click Fix and be able to support my family with pride after ten years of poverty due to a back injury I sustained many years ago.I pride myself on my friendly and outgoing personality, my honest approach to helping others and in fact I'm guilty sometimes of being overly helpful which does sometimes back fire but mostly gets me more work :)
